The year started off with a bang at the box office, with "Happy New Year" raking in a massive $17.5 million on its opening day. The film's impressive haul was enough to give it the biggest opening day of 2014, and the second-biggest opening day ever for a Bollywood film in North America. "Happy New Year" went on to gross $26.5 million over the three-day weekend, giving it the highest opening weekend of 2014 and the third-highest opening weekend ever for a Bollywood film in North America.
With such a strong start, "Happy New Year" is poised to have a long and successful run at the box office. So far, reviews have been mixed but audience reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, which should help word-of-mouth and keep people coming back for more. Plus, with no major Bollywood releases scheduled until January 24th, "Happy New Year" has a clear path to dominate the box office for at least the next two weeks.

The Batman is one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2021. The film stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, and Paul Dano as Edward Nygma/The Riddler. The movie is set to be released on March 4, 2021.
2. Fast & Furious 9
Fast & Furious 9 is set to be released on May 28, 2021. The movie will see the return of Vin Diesel as Dom Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, and Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce. In this installment of the franchise, the crew will have to face their past in order to save the future.
3. A Quiet Place Part II
A Quiet Place Part II is set to be released on April 23, 2021. The movie will star Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, and Millicent Simmonds. In this sequel to 2018’s A Quiet Place, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world after living in silence for so long.
