It will rain heavily; Red warning for 4 districts, orange warning for 12 districts

Bhubaneswar: Rain continues in many parts of the state. Precipitation formed in the Bay of Bengal region. This precipitation is formed in the North East and West Bay of Bengal. Precipitation will move towards west and north-west. In addition, there is a possibility of more condensation and heavy rainfall in 6 hours.

Precipitation will condense and reach the coast in deep precipitation. It will pass between Baltimore and Sea Island this evening. As a result, there will be very heavy rain in some places of 4 districts. There is a possibility of flash floods in 4 districts, landslides in hilly areas. As a result, red warning has been issued to 4 districts and orange warning to 12 districts in the state.

Red warning has been issued to Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj while orange warning has been issued to Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Devgarh, Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Sonpur, Boudh, Balangir, Jajpur.

Heavy to very heavy rain will occur in the districts where orange warning has been issued. In addition, YOLO warning has been issued to 8 more districts. This information has been received from Meteorologist Umashkar Das today. Overall, the impact of rain will be felt across the state.
